What is a Cookie / Tracker?

A cookie is a small piece of information identified by a name and transmitted to your browser for the websites you visit. Your web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) will store it for a certain period of time and send it back to the web server whenever you reconnect to the website.

Cookies serve multiple purposes: they can remember your client ID or shopping cart on an e-commerce site for user functionality. They are also used to track your browsing for statistical or advertising purposes, among others.

A tracker is often a Javascript file called by the site when you visit, which triggers tracking actions for purposes such as statistics collection.

Google Analytics

We use the Google Analytics service for audience and statistical tracking. Its use helps us improve the structure of our site and identify potential issues.

We have enabled IP anonymisation by default, so that it is not possible to identify specific users.

We retain the data for 13 months before it is automatically deleted. This service is developed outside of the European Union, in the United States. As a result, data is transferred. We have verified their compliance with the GDPR.
